The gap network Fundraising & business start up/advice service
Gap network feels that it is important to provide support primarily (but not exclusively) to Black and Minority Ethnic businesses & voluntary sector organisations to enable them in developing governance of their management board & to strengthen their financial status.
Gap network will also help members to access funding via the access to Finance programme the DTI Small business loan Guarantee scheme and from external funding bodies. We therefore provide a fundraising service for our gap network members. The fundraising service will provide information on funding programmes and local training programmes for community groups, and assist members by giving them advice and to set up & support:
- Companies Limited by shares
- Companies Limited by Guarantee
- Community Interest Companies
- Registered Charities
- Social Enterprises
- Partnerships
We will help provide gap network members with business plans, workshops and fundraising fairs and get businesses to attain quality marks such as Investors In People (IIP) etc & become procurement ready
